From your idea to a real prototype.
Turn concepts, sketches and product requirements into practical 3D models and physical prototypes. Wish Factoree helps businesses, founders, designers and makers move from an idea to something they can inspect, test and refine.
Practical support at every stage of product development.
Whether you have a rough idea or an existing CAD file, we help identify a suitable next step based on your design, intended use and production needs.
Concept Development
Turn a product idea, hand sketch or reference images into a clearer design brief and a workable development plan.
3D CAD Modelling
Create or refine three-dimensional product geometry from supplied dimensions, drawings, sketches or reference models.
Rapid 3D Prototypes
Produce physical models for form checks, design reviews, presentation, fit assessment and early-stage evaluation.
Design Iteration
Refine dimensions, shapes, assembly details and other design features based on feedback and project requirements.
Existing File Preparation
Review supplied 3D files for suitability for the requested workflow and identify issues that may need correction.
Prototype to Small Batch
Discuss whether a validated design can move into a small production run, subject to material, process and capacity checks.
Find design issues before committing to production.
A prototype can help you evaluate a product’s shape, scale, assembly and appearance before investing in a larger run. The right approach depends on what you need to learn from it.
- Review the physical form and proportions.
- Evaluate fit and assembly where the design permits.
- Share tangible models with clients or internal teams.
- Explore alternative shapes, layouts and design revisions.
- Assess a product concept before planning the next stage.
Prototype performance is not a substitute for formal engineering validation, certification or safety testing where those are required.
Built around real project requirements.
We assess each enquiry individually to understand the intended application, project stage, quantities and technical requirements.
Startups & Founders
Develop an early physical concept for internal review, customer feedback or product planning.
Product Designers
Translate design concepts into 3D geometry and physical models for evaluation and iteration.
Engineering Teams
Explore non-critical fit, form and assembly concepts with a prototype suited to the brief.
Retail & Consumer Brands
Develop product concepts, mock-ups and presentation models for review or demonstrations.
Education & Research
Explore design concepts and create demonstration models for learning or project presentations.
Manufacturing Businesses
Assess suitable prototype or small-batch options for components and product development needs.
Four steps from brief to prototype.
We first understand the project, then confirm the scope, feasibility and quotation before work begins.
Share Your Idea
Send sketches, images, dimensions, existing files or a written brief.
Review & Quote
We assess the scope, ask questions and discuss feasible options, costs and estimated timelines.
Design & Make
Once the scope is approved, the agreed modelling or prototyping work begins.
Review Next Steps
Review the agreed deliverable and discuss revisions or potential next-stage production.
Have a design file? Send it for review.
Existing drawings and 3D models can help us understand your requirements. If you do not have a CAD file, you can start with a sketch, reference photograph or written description.
Let’s discuss what you want to build.
Tell us what the product should do, what information you already have and what you need from the prototype. We’ll review your requirements and discuss the next steps.
- Brief description of your idea or component.
- Approximate dimensions and intended application.
- Quantity, preferred material or other requirements, if known.
- Target budget and required date, if available.
A quotation and timeline are provided only after project review and confirmation of scope.
Things to know before you enquire.
Can you work from a sketch or photograph?
Yes, you can submit a sketch or reference photograph for an initial assessment. Additional dimensions, views or clarification may be needed before a reliable model or quotation can be prepared.
Do I need an existing CAD file?
No. You can start with an idea, sketch, image, drawing or written brief. Whether the project can be developed from that material will depend on its complexity and the information available.
Can you make a functional prototype?
Potentially, depending on the design, material, tolerances and intended use. Share the forces, environment and performance requirements so we can assess whether the proposed process is suitable. Critical applications may need professional engineering validation.
Can you revise the design after the first prototype?
Design revisions can be discussed as part of the project scope. The quotation should specify the included revision rounds and any additional charges before work starts.
How much does prototyping cost?
Cost depends on design complexity, modelling effort, dimensions, material, print duration, finishing, quantity and the amount of iteration required. Contact us with your brief for a project-specific quotation.
How long will my project take?
Timing depends on the scope, design readiness, material availability, production workload and revision requirements. We will discuss an estimated schedule after reviewing your project.
Can you produce more units after approval?
Small-batch production may be possible after reviewing the design, quantity, material, repeatability and capacity requirements. Please mention your expected future volume in the initial enquiry.
Will my design remain confidential?
Please identify confidential information when submitting your brief. If your project requires an NDA or other confidentiality arrangements, discuss and agree on those arrangements before sharing sensitive technical files.
